The Letchworth Drawings

Letchworth Village was an institution for the physically & mentally disabled.
These drawings are the work of former patients, dating from the 1930s-‘50s.

Known as the Draw-a-Man Test, developed by psychologist Florence Goodenough, this artwork served as a psychological evaluation to measure IQ, and to gain insight into each person’s psyche.
